After 4 attempts involving installing and removing the regular strut/spring/mount individual parts in my unsuccessful attempts to tighten mount to point where it would stop clunking, I ordered and installed the right rear Q-S as a last-ditch experiment. It worked-no more rattle (at least as of a week later). Unit is sooo easy compared to regular unit ,which requires a spring compressor. Only complaint is the shallow nuts for mount studs: really tough to get at when nuts disappear below surrounding chassis area. Toyota's are much deeper and easy to keep a wrench on.
