Installed this strut with front mate 271679 in my kid's '97 Camry. Now the ride is normal, not stiff or soft. The old struts had about 90k miles on them and the car felt like it had solid suspension. Installation was pretty straightforward, and took about an hour in my cramped garage requiring only a floor jack.
